Marissa Miller is a family law attorney at Colburn Hintze Maletta, PLLC, where she provides thoughtful, strategic representation to clients navigating some of life’s most complex and emotional legal challenges.
With a background in psychology and criminology from the University of Northern Iowa and a J.D. from Drake University Law School, she brings a unique perspective that blends legal insight with genuine empathy.
While at Drake Law School, Marissa honed her advocacy and negotiation skills as a member of the ABA Negotiations Team and served clients directly as a student attorney in the General Civil Practice Clinic for two semesters. Today, she uses that foundation to craft individualized legal strategies that address each client’s specific goals and concerns, whether through settlement or trial. She strives to achieve the best possible outcomes while always considering alternative and cost-effective solutions that serve her clients’ long-term interests.
Marissa is a member of the Arizona State Bar Association, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the Arizona Women Lawyers Association. She is committed to helping clients understand their options, navigating the legal system with confidence, and ensuring they feel heard every step of the way.
When not practicing law, Marissa enjoys hiking, listening to audiobooks, traveling, visiting family, spending time with her significant other and their two cats, and beginning her journey into gardening.
