The oldest of three, Ashleigh Hansen started grade school overseas and was immediately thrown into a passion for learning about cultures, people, diversity, and how the world operates. Though she calls the state of Georgia home, she has since lived in nine different states fully embracing each state and city’s uniqueness and diversity. This led Ashleigh to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a Minor in International Studies from Northern Arizona University, becoming the first in her family to graduate college.
During college, Ashleigh was inducted into the National Society of Success and Leadership, Cardinal Key, and participated in the International and Peace Corps Clubs.
Ashleigh worked in retail for much of her professional career until landing her most influential career move working for the Arizona Supreme Court in 2018. Within this chapter of her professional career, she acted as an Administrative Assistant assisting with day-to-day matters as well as working with specific Department and Program needs revolving around the:
- Attorney Admissions Department
- Legal Document Preparer Program
- Court Reporter Program
- Confidential Intermediary Program
- Defensive Driving Program
- Private Process Server Program
- Legal Paraprofessional Program
She also provided administrative assistance to various Committees and Boards, such as the Committee on Character and Fitness. She eventually took a role as a Committees Specialist specifically working with and facilitating the Attorney Advisory Regulation Committee, Attorney Discipline Probable Cause Committee, and the Ethics Advisory Committee.
During her time at the Supreme Court, she also served as her division’s representative and Co-Representative for the Employee Advisory Group assisting with various social events held for Court Employees as well as organizing and participating in several non-profit fundraisers. She was also a member of the Annual Meeting Committee working with the Director of the Supreme Court. She has and continues to make friends at the Supreme Court despite her departure in 2023.
Ashleigh started working at Colburn Hintze Maletta, PLLC in February of 2023 and feels proud to be a part of a team with such a pure devotion to helping those facing life and family-altering situations. She enjoys the wealth of knowledge that is exposed to her and appreciates the inviting and supportive work environment. Ashleigh has used, and continues to use, all of her life and work experience to better implement a professional, friendly, and respectful demeanor while focusing on maintaining a trustworthy, and kind interaction for all she comes into contact with.
Ashleigh loves animals and specifically adores her pet guinea pig, Little Peach, whom she adopted at the Arizona Humane Society in 2021. Ashleigh also loves to spend time with her family, volunteer, ice skate, explore and travel. She enjoys sports and is a University of Georgia Football, Atlanta Braves, and Falcons fan. Although she enjoys her role at the law firm, her favorite role is that of being an aunt to her energetic nephew.
