Christy Farmer
Legal Paraprofessional
Christy Farmer brings a strategic but client-centered approach to her family law practice, combining her sharp litigation skills with a deep understanding of the emotional complexities that come with each case.
Originally from Maine, Christy started college in New England before deciding to leave the long winters behind for the sunny skies of Arizona. Christy attended Arizona State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. She later completed a post-bachelor’s program in Legal Studies through UMass Lowell.
Christy started her legal career in criminal law at the Scottsdale Prosecutor’s Office and later moved on to gain valuable experience in complex civil litigation and personal injury. Before ever stepping foot into the courtroom, Christy built a strong foundation working as a family law paralegal and certified legal document preparer. Ultimately Christy found her calling in family law as it represents the perfect combination of intellectual challenge, emotional depth, and real-world impact.
Since becoming a licensed Family Law Legal Paraprofessional in 2022, Christy has established a reputation for being creative, knowledgeable and effective in court. Christy understands that family law cases are rarely just about the legal issues; they’re about people navigating some of the most stressful and emotional moments of their lives.
Christy excels in her role as a smart and capable advocate in their corner. Christy brings enthusiasm to everything she does. She’s a natural problem solver who doesn’t back down from a challenge, whether that means negotiating a smart resolution or pushing a case forward when needed.
Outside of work Christy is a dedicated lifelong Boston sports fan and seafood lover. She has a passion for traveling, live music, good food, birdwatching and spending time with her husband, their two daughters and their two very bad dogs, Bodhi and Zahra.
