Alysa Hudson’s first exposure to the legal system began when she was twelve and her father and family were embroiled in a multitude of lawsuits on behalf of the family’s businesses. The legal battles lasted well over two decades, and Alysa got a front-row seat to watching not only the complexities of the legal arena and the need for competent counsel but how the battles in a courtroom or legal case can impact personal and familial dynamics.
Alysa’s extensive trial and litigation background from handling hundreds of civil trials and thousands of individual civil cases across several firms has helped her build a solid foundation for litigation practice, getting positive results for clients, and has allowed her to develop a professional yet compassionate demeanor and demonstrated effectiveness in a multitude of situations.
Her no-nonsense, practical approach to resolving cases by settlement has earned Alysa high praise and recommendations from a multitude of her peers, including opposing counsel.
During law school, Alysa was constantly busy working on expanding her knowledge of the legal landscape through clerkships. She earned placement on the Dean’s List, received CALI awards (the highest grade in the class) for subjects including labor law and mental health law, and even went on to complete her Advanced Writing Requirement (law school’s version of a thesis) on the subject of the intersection of mental health and the legal system and the need for a more comprehensive approach to mental health issues. Alysa graduated from law school with Cum Laude distinction, placing her in the top 15% of her graduating class.
Prior to law school, Alysa attended New Mexico State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management, and multiple business minors.
Alysa is an energetic and determined attorney, who always strives to obtain the best possible results for her clients while keeping their rights and ultimate goals in mind. She is always looking for alternative and creative, yet cost-effective, solutions to client problems, and endeavors to provide the highest level of representation to every client. Her organized, methodical, and highly prepared approach to each case ensures the best odds for positive results.
When not working on client’s cases or in the courtroom, Alysa can be found either traveling the world or working on a multitude of projects at home, including working with her husband on his project car, creating and maintaining bioactive terrariums and aquariums, playing with their other pets (two cats and a dog), and experimenting with recipes in her kitchen (which her husband, family, and co-workers very much enjoy!).
