Client was driving in Tempe and collided into a parked car. The date of violation was prior to the legalization of marijuana in Arizona. Client did not have a medical marijuana card on the date of the accident and DUI.
Client had active THC and inactive Carboxy in her system. We had client get a medical marijuana card after the DUI. The original offer was to a Marijuana DUI drugs. We were able to negotiate a new offer to Reckless driving because we obtained a medical marijuana card after the DUI. Client took the plea deal to Reckless driving.
