Client was a cashier at a home improvement/hardware store. Client was accused of stealing money out of the register. The theft was recorded on video. The original offer was to plead guilty to theft and have a permanent conviction for theft.
We filed a deviation request and attached the therapy he completed as an exhibit. We got a new offer to diversion where in exchange for completing classes all charges were dismissed. Client completed classes and all charges were dismissed.
