Colby Fedock is an Attorney at CHM Law whose practice focuses on family law with additional experience in criminal defense. He represents clients in divorce, child custody and parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, domestic violence, and complex property division. He also assists clients facing misdemeanor and DUI matters, approaching every case with a balance of compassion and strategy. Colby is especially passionate about negotiation and helping clients reach resolutions that reduce conflict when possible, while remaining prepared to advocate fiercely in court when necessary.
An Arizona native, Colby’s perspective on family law is shaped by his own experience growing up in a separated household where effective co-parenting helped him thrive. He believes legal challenges are not only disputes to be resolved but also opportunities for growth, and he works to ensure clients feel supported, heard, and empowered throughout the process.
Colby earned his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law, where he was a Top-16 finalist in the Moot Court Competition and received the CALI Excellence Award in Legal Issues in Electronic Commerce. During law school, he also consulted in securities and financial technology, and as an avid cryptocurrency and blockchain technology enthusiast, he brings unique insight to cases involving complex financial issues, digital assets, and asset division.
His ability to bridge traditional and emerging financial systems allows him to craft clear strategies in cases where finances are at the center.
Outside of the office, Colby is always looking for new ways to challenge himself and grow. He is an avid disc golfer who enjoys both the competitive and grounding aspects of the sport, and he often spends weekends on local courses. A lifelong music lover, Colby has performed on some of the nation’s most iconic stages—including singing the National Anthem at Fenway Park for a Yankees–Red Sox game and performing Mozart’s Requiem at Lincoln Center under the direction of Grammy Award–winning conductor Vance George.
He also enjoys exploring technology, regularly building software and AI frameworks in his spare time, and values giving back through mentorship, having previously coached youth soccer and served as a Young Life leader. Whether through athletics, music, or tech, Colby brings the same energy and curiosity to his personal pursuits that he does to his legal practice.
